December 10, 2007, 07:49:41 pm - Some minor updates. by Daniel15 Today, I did some minor updates to the site. Most notably, I fixed the bug in the signature client which prevented it from working for certain users. If you got an error when trying to run the signature client, I suggest you download and install the new version. Because the change was so minor, the version number has not increased. You'll only need to update your signature client if it wasn't working for you previously. Download the latest client from http://www.dynamic-sig.com/index.php?action=client Additionally, I've added initial support for displaying your MSN status and display name, via Web2Messenger. This is currently a bit of a hack, I'll need to clean it up a bit to make it look nicer. Also, note that this is only really useful for existing Web2Messenger users, as signups there are closed at the moment. I'll be working on several updates in the future, including some smaller signature templates (this has been requested a lot), as well as the PHP-based Linux client (this has been half-finished for quite a while). July 10, 2007, 09:30:13 pm - Today's updates by Daniel15 Today brings a few minor updates: 3 new templates added, thanks to Martin! last.fm is now supported! If you have a last.fm account, your signature can display the last song you listened to New Hide signature information when offline? option. Previously, if you were offline, your signature would not show any data. Now, you have the ability to turn this on or off. July 07, 2007, 09:42:35 pm - Sorry about the minor downtime... by Daniel15 Recently, this site was inaccessible for some users. This was because I moved the site to a new server, and did not set up the DNS settings for the domain name properly. This is now fixed, and the site should be accessible again . Also, Martin sent me some new templates way back in March. I have not had any time to implement these (I've been way too busy with other things), but I'll try and do this soon. April 21, 2007, 08:31:51 pm - Finally, some updates :) by Daniel15 Today, I did a few updates to this site (finally!). These updates include: Added new "Vista Style" template (thanks to Martin) You can now customise the order that things are shown on your signature, or hide them altogether Heaps of backend code cleanup Forum was upgraded to SMF 1.1.2 (previously running SMF 1.1 RC2) Additionally, I'm planning on adding some new features soon. I may add some more fonts (once I find some good ones), and also add some more signature features (different things to add to your signature). Someone suggested having an option to show the title of the latest news article (in an RSS feed) in the signature... I love that idea . Please feel free to post all your ideas to the forum. Another thing I started working on is a (currently experimental) client for Linux. I scrapped the original one I had (written in REALBasic), and started one written in PHP. I'll post it here soon. I was going to work on Dynamic-Sig.com today, but only realised that a while ago, I formatted my Linux PC and forgot to back up my development code  . I had done a lot of updates in November last year, which I am going to have to redo from scratch Due to time constraints, I'm going to have to postpone the updates until I have more time...
