Today brings a few minor updates:

  • 3 new templates added, thanks to Martin!
  • last.fm is now supported! If you have a last.fm account, your signature can display the last song you listened to Smiley
  • New Hide signature information when offline? option. Previously, if you were offline, your signature would not show any data. Now, you have the ability to turn this on or off.

If you have any further suggestions, please post them in the forum Smiley

Glad you like it Smiley. Martin sent it to me a few months ago, and I did not get time to implement it until now.

The "offline" bit is whether the user has ran the Dynamic-Sig.com client recently or not. I don't run the client often (I wouldn't consider the Linux one finished, and I don't have Windows installed at the moment). However, I'm still on my computer, and still listening to music Smiley

Yeah, I realized what the last listened to thing meant about half an hour later Tongue I've never used Last.fm before, but I did notice it in Amarok so I decided to try it Tongue

EDIT: A suggestion, Smiley SigX has the ability to put random quotes in the sig, I wouldn't mind seeing something like that with yours Smiley

EDIT again: Uh oh... My sig below has an error. "Error in Signature Generator: file_get_contents(http://ws.audioscrobbler.com/1.0/user/jacensolo775/recenttracks.xml) [<a href='function.file-get-contents'>function.file-get"

and thats all before it cuts off,  at the edge of the table or the image, dunno
EDIT: Working now but I'll leave the error report here so you can hopefully find the bug Smiley

That means that there was an error with retrieving your data from last.fm. I'll have to implement better error handling, I guess Smiley

That's something I've been planning for a while, but have not got around to actually doing it Tongue.

Yea, I know... old thread.. you wouldnt be willing to post the bit of code that parses from LastFM would you?  I have a sig Im working on but putting switches into it (Quote, IPetc., Disabled Upon Request) and multiple backgrounds and been trying to figure out how parsing works so I can get the data from LastFM.

I use the RSS feed from Last.fm...
It's been a while, do you still need this code?
