Just wondering if it's possible to get Winamp or any other media player to be displayed instead of just Windows Media Player. (Who uses that anyway? lol)

I have no idea how to get the name of the currently playing song in Winamp, but I'll see what I can do Smiley. However, it's not one of my priorities at the moment, and I don't get that much free time...

Personally, I prefer Amarok, but thats just me Tongue (winamp is the one I use in windows through)

Yeah, I use Winamp in Windows, but either BMPx (Beep Media Player Experimental) or XMMS in Linux Smiley.
I've never tried Amarok... I may try it one day Smiley.

Well, I'm a KDE fan... so kaffine, Amarok, Noatun, etc.

Speaking of linux players, is it possible to get the linux script to extract "now playing" info from certain players?

Amarok is good i like it. As for kaffine that is ok. I just preffer amarok and VLC
